Deià is a small town located on the northwest flank of the Serra de Tramuntana between Valldemossa, Sóller and Bunyola. The town is built on a hill set in a valley with the Teix, the second highest mountain in Majorca, rising above the valley.
There is a bohemian feeling in the town that seems to come from the artists, musicians and writers from all over the world that have settled here.
The architecture consists of traditional stone 'fincas'. There are many choices of excellent accommodation and restaurants.
