Cycling in Mallorca Puig Major from Lluc

Puig Major from Lluc

This is the easier side to climb up the highest mountain in Mallorca as you have done most of your climbing to get here. The other direction being from Soller. The Monnaber tunnel marks the end of the climb from both directions.

Cycling in Mallorca Puig Major from Soller

Puig Major from Soller

The highest and longest climb in the Tramuntana and therefore in Mallorca. It never gets too steep and the road surface is good. From Soller is the harder route to take to the summit at the tunnel of Monnaber.

Talaia d'Albercutx from Formentor

Talaia d'Albercutx from Formentor

A very scenic climb starting at Formentor beach then turning left at the summit of Coll de Sa Creueta then continuing up a number of hairpin bends where the views cover the bay of Pollenca and stretch to Cap Formentor and on a clear day to Menorca and the Spanish mainland.
